Result : Skidmarks 7 - 3 Mbambo

Well....it was a fairly cold evening and we were relatively short-staffed with a couple late cancellations but the six players who were there were determined to get a result...cue teamsheet :

1)Luke "Ginja Ninja" Hatfield
2)Dom "Peter Crouch" Albrecht

5)Mike "I have a beard" Lyndon
6)Bruce "The Matrix" Andersen

anyway, it was a slow start to the the game and we looked half asleep and went a goal down...oh and "bubble butt" was playing...anywho....Dom "WTF" Albrecht scored a goal which i can't remember to make the scores 1-1 before The Ginja Ninja crossed for the Rhino to "thigh" into the goal to make the scores 2-1 to us...Mbambo scored a 2nd...i won't point any fingers for the goal at Peri "7 touches" Zourides......shortly before halftime the Ginja Ninja capitalised on a mistake from the Mbambo goalkeeper to make the scores 3-2 going into the 2nd half. Dom "I can like to score" Albrecht completed his hat trick early in the 2nd half following up his rebounded shot to smack the ball past the sprawling goalkeeper.Score update=4-2. Mbambo scored another, beating B Dogg low on the near post but it turned out to be a mere consolation at The Skidmarks turned on the stlye.....First The Ginja Ninja broke down the right to square the ball to Dom "Yes thats 4!!!!!" Albrecht to tap past the goalkeeper and then Dom "yes 4!!!!" Albrecht trying hard for his 5th had a shot with rebounded for the Ginja to get his 2nd of the game.....but there was more....with the team tiring more and more, Dom "read on" Albrecht collected the ball in the corner and with no support whatsoever managed to dribble out of the corner past a defender, round the goalkeeper before slotting the ball from an almost impossible angle.....thats 5 for the Baby Rhino ....yes 5.....and he duly celebrated with a "Peter Crouch" style celebration!
